Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 is the third main entry in Activision's Tony Hawk's Pro Skater franchise and sequel to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. It was initially released for the PlayStation and PlayStation 2 in October 2001.

A Sega Dreamcast version of the game is thought to have been in development at some point, but while sporadically mentioned by gaming magazines, was cancelled for unknown reasons. While a Dreamcast version has never been officially confirmed by Activision, the success of the previous two games led to ports if 3 to all other major platforms, including a Nintendo 64 version released as late as August 2002.
